About this role
IrisStar, an IT staffing and consulting firm, is recruiting a Data Architect in Abu Dhabi for a client role covering data architecture, engineering and governance on Databricks and Azure.
Responsibilities
- Design and govern enterprise data architecture on Databricks/Azure Lakehouse
- Build and maintain Azure Data Factory and ADLS pipelines
- Define data governance, security and quality standards
- Support master data management (MDM) initiatives
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in data architecture/data engineering
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Databricks
- Strong Microsoft Azure skills (ADF, ADLS, Lakehouse)
- Experience with ETL/ELT, SQL, Python and Spark
- Immediate joiners preferred
